Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions page! Whether you're fresh to the world of Hemp, or Cannabis has been your friend since the 70s, you might find some of your questions answered here!

  • What is CBD?
CBD, or Cannabidiol, is the main, nonpsychoactive compound (cannabinoid) found in the Hemp plant. CBD binds best to our body receptors providing homeostasis and alleviating inflammation (reducing pain).
  • Can CBD help with stress?
It may! Many people have found stress relief from CBD only (isolate) products. While CBD's main focus is on the body and relaxation, the brain tends to follow.

  • What is THC?
THC, or Tetrahydrocannabinol, is the main, psychoactive cannabinoid found in Marijuana.  THC comes in many forms (Delta 8, Delta 9, Delta 10, THCa, etc). THC best binds to the brain receptors. This is what makes one feel "high".
Delta 9 is the traditional THC, which many non-recreational states, can only have up to .3% on a dry weight basis in their products.
Delta 8 is a THC cannabinoid that is about a third as strong as Delta 9. Many people find this "high" to be more functional and less paranoia inducing.
Delta 10 is new-to-the-market THC that tends to be less sedative than Delta 8. Delta 10 is grown in very, very small amounts and is mostly used as a booster to Delta 8. (For some, the Delta 10 just makes the product stronger and for others they do feel more energy compared to using just Delta 8 products)
THC-O, or fully known as Delta 8 THC-O Acetate, is a compound that is very new to the consumer market but was researched by the military in 1949. This THC can be be found in teeny tiny amounts in cannabis. These days, THC-O is sourced by converting hemp-derived CBD to Delta 8 THC through lab processes. Acetic anhydride is then added to the delta-8 THC molecules to produce THC-O acetate. THC-O tends to take a little longer to kick in and may be up to 3X stronger than the traditional Delta 9 THC. We do not carry THC-O.
  • Is Delta 8 Legal?
In many states, yes. In many states, no. In other states, like Texas, it's a bit of a grey area.
For Texas: We are currently able to legally sell and possess Delta 8 for the next 6 - 18 months while we anticipate the legal status of this cannabinoid.
Please be sure of your state's legality before ordering or traveling with our Delta 8 products.

  • Will your CBD products show up on a drug screening?
Some may! We offer completely THC free products (Isolate and Broad Spectrum) that may not pop positive on a drug test.
Our Full Spectrum Products (CBD with <.3% Delta 9 THC) are likely to show on a test. Our full THC products (Farm Bill compliant Delta 9 and Delta 8) will definitely result in a positive drug screening.
  • What is the difference between Hemp and Marijuana?
They are both Cannabis Sativa L plants. Hemp is cannabis grown with less than .3% THC (and usually more than 10% CBD). Marijuana is cannabis grown with more than .3% THC (these days, averaging around 15%). For the products we sell to be federally legal,  they must be hemp-derived.
  • What is your return policy?
We accept returns of unused, unopened products with a receipt with in 30 days of when the products were purchased.
Vape carts, disposables, and batteries are non-refundable but we may be able to diagnose or help with a problem occurring with these types of products. Of course, we want to help so there may be exceptions to this rule.
Flower products and Glass pieces are not refundable or exchangeable. More information on our refund policy can be found here: https://jheartcbd.com/policies/refund-policy
